Our portfolio demonstrates how our standard modules can be combined and adapted to create truly bespoke designs. From compact garden studios to fully realised homes, our flexible modular system allows us to shape a solution around your vision. By exploring different configurations and design options, we develop the right approach before preparing a detailed proposal.
Collaboration is central to every bespoke commission. You’ll work directly with our qualified designers and chartered architects, ensuring your requirements are translated into a well‑considered architectural response. Together, we refine the brief, explore possibilities, and craft a design that feels both personal and purposeful.
As architects, we’re passionate about creating new and innovative projects. So, if you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for, simply get in touch, we’ll create it for you.
A bespoke 60m² modular entertaining space set within the green belt, designed to bring together a full‑size pool table, movie room, shower room and a flexible office suitable for occasional sleepovers. The client approached GYD Modular after struggling to find a solution within budget; we delivered a tailored design that met every requirement, with costs held firm despite weather‑related delays over winter.
The new extension, clad entirely in charred timber, houses an open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area. Above the lounge, a vaulted mezzanine serves as a versatile hobby space or home office, maximising vertical space while maintaining a modern feel.
This small modular extension is the perfect solution for adding extra space and functionality to your home. Designed with efficiency and flexibility in mind, it offers a sleek, contemporary space that can be used for a variety of purposes, from a home office or studio to a cosy lounge or guest room.
This project demonstrates the advantages of modular design, offering a customisable, efficient, and sustainable solution for complex spaces. Modular construction allows for a high level of flexibility in both design and execution, making it ideal for projects where unique requirements or site constraints exist.
